A Spotted Pine Sawyer.

Commentary

Thanks for your report! This looks like one of our native pine sawyers, Monochamus obtusus. Our natives are not tree killers.

Location

Around our garden crawling on the cement patio. Our garden is home to 150 perennial flowering plants. 1/3 native or native flowering. We have one Buckeye Tree on our property That sits right next to the garden. This photo was taken September 28th at 5pm on Bramblewood lane in Eugene Oregon
