Location

Just off north side hiway 42 east of bridge oregon near weeping willow lane junction with hiway 42.
The area was logged for the large fir trees and many madrone logs were left in decks. There are multiple species of mature hardwood still standing, including madrone. While cutting old madrone logs and splitting, what looked like emerald ash borers were seen on several occasions bored intp the madrone wood. I don't recall ever seeing this insect before.
