About the size of a pinky fingernail. Brown wing cover, greenish body

Commentary

Thank you for your report! Definitely NOT a Japanese beetle, although from this photo I can't put a species name on it. Looks like a June beetle in the family Scarabaeidae.

Location

It’s an office building and parking lot surrounded by maintained lawn and ivy. The bug was on the sidewalk traveling towards the door of suite A & B. It looked scruffy and beat up so I am not sure it’s a Japanese beetle
