Description of specimen

A few tall poison hemlock plants, one was over 10 feet tall. They have the purple variegation on smooth stalks, and white Queen Anne’s lace like flowers. This was seen on May 24, 2025.

Commentary

Poison Hemlock (Conium maculatum) contains highly poisonous alkaloids toxic to mammals. Human deaths have occurred from harvesting and consuming the roots as wild carrots or parsnips. Upon removal, wear gloves, jeans, boots, and a long sleeve shirt. Thank you very much for your king observation.
