Description of specimen

I am pretty sure that I found an Asian Wasp in my yard. It was a little over an inch long and thicker than the normal wasps with a larger wing. I killed it with the vinegar solution that I was using on my weeds, and if it is still in my yard when I get home, I will collect it if needed.

Commentary

Thank you for your report! A picture is worth a thousand words. We have many large native wasps, most are beneficial and not aggressive.
