Commentary

Dear Mr. Leo Ramos,

Thank you so much for reporting Old Man's Beard. This is a high priority new invader in Linn County. Oregon Sea Grant and the South Santiam Watershed Council have a program where youth conduct rapid response to new invaders as part of job/skill development and watershed science curriculum. An excellent teacher Jennifer Costelow leads these youth. I will contact her to see if she would be willing to organize a response to this infestation, possibly in partnership with the City of Lebanon. Thanks again. I will keep you in the loop as things progress.
