Description of specimen

Appears to be an Asian Longhorned Beetle.

Commentary

Avatar of commenter Thank you for your report! That is our native White-spotted Sawyer beetle, Monochamus scutellatus, not ALB. This is probably the most convincing look-alike, but they are not tree killers.

Plant leaf in our backyard. Corner of High Prairie Road and Mountain View Road. About 8 miles North of Oakridge Oregon.
