Description of specimen

Typical Daphne laureola just coming into bloom. Photographed 2/10/2011. These have been present for several years.
If you need a physical specimen this is just a few minutes from my house.
Less lush looking than most I have seen, probably due to the red clay soils there.

Dear Mr. Boyce,

It was a pleasure meeting you at the Four County Cooperative Weed Management Area Pull Together event. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to report this sighting. Spurge laurel is a priority invasive weed that we are focusing on here in Clackamas County. We will be working with CCC staff to target this patch in the coming field season. All the best,

Sincerely,

Samuel Leininger
