Drought on Jul 2, 2025

Originally reported as Emerald Ash Borer (Agrilus planipennis)

Submitter does not have a specimen

Description of specimen

All the ash are either dead or have very distinctive dead tops, splitting bark and vigorous sprouting on the lower stems. I performed a quick survey and did not see any other signs like exit holes, but thought it was significant enough to report. The homeowner says it’s been getting exponentially worse over the last 3 years. I was here 3 years ago and the tops weren’t dead.
