Description of specimen

Found a couple of Beatles in our pool that were definitely geen and elongated. When I saw a story on the news with a picture, it looked like what I had seen. I don't have the bugs though. They were dead. I found them in late May to mid June.

Thank you for your report! EAB attacks only ash trees and related trees in the ash family.

There are a number of iridescent green look-alike beetles in Oregon that are not pests. I am attaching a link to the ODF EAB webpage with some photos of other Oregon insects that could be mistaken for EAB
