Description of specimen

It looks like bore holes in several spots at eye level and possibly a lot more higher.

Commentary

Thank you for your report! Is that an ash tree? The leaves in some images look like birch. EAB attacks ash and closely related trees in the ash family. Check out the Oregon EAB webpage at https://oregon-eab-geo.hub.arcgis.com for help recognizing ash and EAB damage.

Location

The top half of one of my ash trees died between my house and the Neibers and it continues to die moving down the tree. I have a second tree that has one branch exhibiting the same issue behind my house but only on one branch closer to the ground. Not sure if this is the Emerald Ash Borer but I thought I better let someone know so they can check it out.
