Single.
Body size approx 1.25 inch in length not including legs or antennas.

Commentary

Thank you for your report! No, there is no need to look for these beetles. This is a native longhorn beetle, the Banded alder borer, Rosalia funebris. Their grubs feed in dead branches of alder and some other forest trees. They are not tree killers.
