Live bug, that I moved from the street to a leaf.

Commentary

Thank you for your report! The Banded alder borer is a native longhorn beetle that does not attack living trees. Their grubs live in dead branches of red alder and some other forest trees. This is one of our most flamboyant native beetles, and they seem to be having a "good year" as we've been getting many sightings.
