Description of specimen

I have the seed head stalk from a cutleaf teasel (Dipsacus laciniatus L.) a few scatted plants were on the incline next to the road in front of our property. The spiked plants are thinly distributed mixed in with other plants that have grown up since the county cleared the creek bed last summer.
