Small iridescent green beetle

Commentary

Thank you for your report! EAB does not attack cottonwood, only ash trees, European olive and white fringetree. However, there are other borers that will attack cottonwoods, especially stressed or recently dead trees. There are also a number of iridescent green look-alike beetles in Oregon that are not pests.
