Description of specimen

Lack of maintenance where invasive plants with thorns and vines encroach into the 13621 SE Fairoaks Dr right-of-way access and drainage system for Willamette Creek; invasives also threatening mature evergreen trees and native habitat surrounding Willamette Creek

Remedy

Himalayan blackberry has gone by many names in the Pacific Northwest, and there is yet a common consensus on which species are here and what to call the most dominant species. However, control options are similar.

Utility right-of-way surrounding 13674 SE Fairoaks Dr (located on SE Fairoaks Dr AND unimproved SE Denny Ave containing Willamette Creek) with drainage system to Willamette Creek; also flows onto 13621 SE Fairoaks Dr private property (registered as Native Backyard Habitat, Butterfly and Bird Gardens) due to the inoperable drainage system backfilled with debris
