Location

Nutria seen in Fanno Creek, near the 'Tigard Universal Plaza.' There is a steel and concrete bridge over the creek, and up creek meanders upstream from there. Downstream from that bridge is a small beaver dam, and I have seen a small family of nutria from that small dam up through the meander. Further upstream there is a wooden bridge, much closer to Main Street, Tigard, and I have seen them as far upstream as that.
