Submitter does not have a specimen

Description of specimen

Noticed bore holes that appear to be EAB related. I'd like to take preventative measures to protect ash trees on my property if this tree is in fact infected.

Commentary

Thank you for your report! Can you please attach a photo of the damage? Emerald ash borer makes D-shaped holes about 1/8" wide. Here is the address of Oregon Department of Forestry's EAB website

At the EAB website you can find the EAB Response Plan for Oregon, photos of Emerald Ash Borer Look-Alikes, and more information about how to recognize EAB attack, so that you can monitor your trees.
