Description of specimen

It was in my house on my kitchen window. Unfortunately, my wife discarded it before I could keep it to provide as a specimen. There is a wooded lot across the street from my home.

Commentary

Thank you for your report! There are a number of iridescent green look-alike beetles in Oregon that are not pests. I am attaching a link to the ODF EAB webpage with some photos of other Oregon insects that could be mistaken for EAB
