Description of specimen

Found 2 bodies of fluorescent green beetles - have never noticed them before.

Commentary

Thank you for your report! There are a number of iridescent green look-alike beetles in Oregon that are not pests. I am attaching a link to the ODF EAB webpage with some photos of other Oregon insects that could be mistaken for EAB

Location

I found 2 dead Emerald Ash Borers on our property (19935 S. Fischers Mill, Oregon City). We have about 8 acres of fir, pine, cedar, maple trees - don't have any ash trees that we're aware of. We have a lot of fire wood - all cut from our own trees and will be burned in our own woodstove.
