Description of specimen

Leaves in upper canopy dry and leaves curling up. Open wound about 5ft up trunk. No D shape holes

Commentary

Thank you for your report! This doesn't look like EAB damage (is that an ash tree?). S-shaped larval galleries may be visible under the bark split with an EAB infestation.
