Commentary

Dear Doug,

Thanks so much for reporting false brome! I have forwarded this report to the proper authorities so they may be aware of the infestation and incorporate it into their invasive species management strategy. It may be that false brome is too abundant in the area to get priority for control, but it is nonetheless very important to have records of existing distributions to aid our understanding of the spread of this species and make best management decisions. Your reports will be added to a growing statewide database of invasive species (www.imapinvasives.org) that is widely used by managers. Thanks again and keep up the reporting!
