Description of specimen

Fiberous. What looks like an egg mass. I am thinking it could be dung as it landed from straight above over a screw inset and just fiberous inside; nothing looks like eggs.

Commentary

Not gypsy moth egg mass. Not an insect egg mass either. Thanks for the submission, Jim.
