We believe it is a Red Headed Ash Borer
Commentary
This is indeed the North American native species, Neoclytus acuminatus, the red-headed ash borer. It attacks dead and dying hardwoods. It is not generally considered a pest except sometimes in plant nurseries where it can damage young trees. This particular adult may have emerged from firewood brought into a warm house, which is common for woodborers. Good find. Wyatt

Location
Garmin AT on McNary Field. Inside one of our buildings on the second floor near a window. We have found several in the past week.
