Big moth, see photo of mating pair.

Commentary

Nice find! No need to kill. They are native sphinx moths. Probably the "one-eyed" sphinx moth. Not a pest. Enjoy their beauty.

Location

I live in a float home on the Columbia River. I have never seen a moth like this and I am a lifelong (69 years) resident of OR & WA.
