Description of specimen

This tree is usually full of leaves, this year it leaves out later than others around the area. When it did leaf out, it was very sparse and eventually had some smaller branches die off and turn brown. I have not seen any evidence of the borer from ground level observation, however our tree looked a lot like the tree shown in Forest Grove.
There are also several English Ash in the area that have a lot of Flicker activity this year, there are some of them directly next door.
Please let us know if you think we may have a problem. We would gladly welcome a visit from someone trained, as well as hang a trap out to see if any can be caught.
