As photo suggests. Size 3/4-1".

Location

Heavily wooded deciduous & conifer area & farmland. Primarily D Fir, White Oak, Broadleaf Maple & a variety of scrubs. The beetle was found on my lawn (actually, on my neck) in the late morning. Its source is unknown and I'm not sure if we even have Ash in this vicinity.
