Description of specimen

This tree has significant defoliation/dieback, and what i think are signs of woodpecker blonding on the bark. i didn’t get the opportunity to check closer for exit holes or bark cracking, but it was alarming based on the defoliation and blonding alone.

Commentary

Thank you for your report! Site was visited by staff on 07/23/2025. Tree has some canopy thinning and defects due to past injuries but no evidence of an EAB infestation at this time.
