Thank you for your report Conrad. Ash trees with thinning canopies like the ones in your photo are an intidcator of EAB, but lots of other things, such as drought, can cause this damage as well. You can learn to identify the sign and symptoms of EAB at the website below. If you can get a closer look at these trees and take pictures of what you see we may be able to diagnose further.
