Commentary

Thanks for the report. The exit holes do not look like EAB. The exit holes of EAB have pretty defined edges and look like a capital "D". If you remove branches during your work, you can use a knife or hatchet to peel back to the cambium. If EAB is present, there will be "S-shaped"galleries and little white larvae.
